Unix and Overlooked Pop Culture

Manning, an intelligence officer in the military was reponsible for leaking  information to Wikileaks in regards to combat footage and diplomatic cables.  Adrian Lamo would ultimately reveal chat logs to authorities, thus resulting in Manning's arrest. 

Edward Snowden

 It began with the release of information confirming that the NSA was collecting massive amounts of data from domestic phone calls and e-mails.  Snowden would eventually reveal himself to Glenn Greenwald of The Guardian.  The impact of the leaks have permeated pop culture as well as Congress.
